Subscription Terms

By subscribing to Cleave, you agree to the following terms.

Plans and billing

Cleave offers a monthly plan and 6- and 12-month plans. The 6- and 12-month plans are paid upfront, and a new issue arrives every month. By joining, you authorize the price of your plan and any applicable taxes to be charged automatically each billing cycle until you cancel.

Your plan renews automatically at the same price: monthly plans every month, and 6- and 12-month plans at the end of each term. Renewals are charged the day before the monthly order cutoff..

Cancellation

You may cancel anytime through your account page.

If you have already been charged for an upcoming issue, that issue will still be mailed to you. After cancellation, you will not be charged for future issues. If you cancel a 6- or 12-month plan, it won't renew, and you'll still receive the remaining issues you've paid for.

Refunds

Issues that have already been paid for are generally non-refundable. If an issue is missing, damaged, or there is another problem with your order, contact me at hello@joincleave.com.

If a 6- or 12-month plan renews and you meant to cancel, email hello@joincleave.com within 30 days of the renewal for a full refund. This applies to renewals only, not to the first purchase of a plan.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under applicable law.

Shipping and delivery

Cleave currently ships within the United States by standard mail. Tracking is not available, and delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

You are responsible for keeping your mailing address current. Address changes made after the monthly order cutoff may not apply to an issue already being prepared or mailed.

Editorial content

Cleave reflects independent editorial judgment and firsthand experience at the time each issue is created. Recommendations are opinions, and details about places, businesses, prices, hours, or availability may change after publication.

Changes to the subscription

Cleave may update subscription pricing, these terms, or other aspects of the service from time to time. Subscribers will be notified of material changes before they apply to a future billing cycle.
